Lake is great

Main pool often has movie nights
Nothing to do after dark
Resort is a little boring
Very good resort if all you want to do is relax
Very secluded and need to travel to do or see anything

In a dry county so you needed to bring your own alcohol (nearest liquor store is about 30 miles away)
Purchase pass at Mt. Ranch Golf Course when you arrive if you plan on golfing
