Bluegreen Referral Rewards

Bluegreen Vacations Owners will receive the following Rewards for each Qualified Referral that becomes a deeded Bluegreen Owner.

  • Bronze owners receive 75,000 Rewards per Qualified Referral
  • Silver owners receive 100,000 Rewards per Qualified Referral
  • Gold owners receive 125,000 Rewards per Qualified Referral
  • Platinum owners receive 150,000 Rewards per Qualified Referral

Bluegreen Villa Upgrades

  • Premier Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum owners can request a one category upgrade based on space availability and Premier level.
  • Owners must call Premier Services at 800.230.0149 to request villa upgrade.
  • Weekend or holiday villa upgrades at participating resorts can be requested at the resort front desk.
  • Platinum owners may request a villa upgrade 4 days in advance of their scheduled check-in date up to 10 times per year.
  • Gold owners may request a villa upgrade 3 days in advance of their scheduled check-in date up to 7 times per year.
  • Silver owners may request a villa upgrade 2 days in advance of their scheduled check-in date up to 5 times per year.
  • Bronze owners may request a villa upgrade 1 day in advance of their scheduled check-in date up to 3 times per year.
  • Villa must be for the same resort and dates, no exceptions.
  • Only valid for stays of 7 nights or less.
  • Upgrades done in middle of a stay will be assessed a housekeeping fee, which varies by villa type.
  • Villa upgrades from an RV site are not available.
  • Upgrades to Presidential Suite are available only to Gold and Platinum owners. Platinum owners may request Presidential Suite upgrades 1 time per year 7 days prior to scheduled check-in date. Gold owners may request Presidential Suite upgrades 1 time per year 4 days prior to scheduled check-in date.
  • No other benefits may be used in conjunction with this benefit.

Bluegreen Complimentary Traveler Plus Membership

Platinum owners receive complimentary Traveler Plus membership each year their Platinum level Points are maintained.

Ownership level will be reviewed in January of each calendar year for existing Platinum owners to determine Traveler Plus membership eligibility.

If a Platinum owner is currently an active Traveler Plus member at the time of renewal, that owner's Traveler Plus membership will be extended at no cost for one year.

Platinum owners receive all Traveler Plus benefits regardless of purchase date.

Determining Your Bluegreen Priority Use Period

The Bluegreen reservation window starts 11 months prior to the check-in date at midnight eastern time.  As an owner, you can reserve the use of your deeded accommodations (specific week, for specific unit at a specific resort) as outlined in your Certificate of Beneficial Use (COBU) between 11 months and 1 day and 13 months prior to the check-in date.  This is called your Priority Use Period.

If you do not own a full week, you can only book the specific days of the week you are deeded for, not the full week.  For example we have two contracts deeded at the Club at Big Bear Village, one annual and one biennial-even.  Our first (annual) contract is written as follows: 17AK/28F, 17BJ/10F, 17CI/37F, 17CI/38F.  The second (biennial-even) is written as follows: 17DL/35E, 17DL/49E, 17DL/39E.

The breakdown on the first contract is as follows:

  • Unit 17A Thursday (17AK) of week 28 every year (F).
  • Unit 17B Wednesday (17BJ) of week 10 every year (F).
  • Unit 17C Tuesday (17CI) of week 30 every year (F).
  • Unit 17C Tuesday (17CI) of week 38 every year (F).

The breakdown on the second contract is as follows:

  • Unit 17D Friday (17DL) of week 35 in even years (E).
  • Unit 17D Friday (17DL) of week 49 in even years (E).
  • Unit 17D Friday (17DL) of week 39 in even years (E).

So a word of warning, IF you are considering an upgrade where you are trading a deed back to Bluegreen, be very careful to check the new deed information.  Make them explain it to you. We surrendered a full week deeded stay at The Fountains that we could have used for it's priority use period for deeds at Big Bear that are worthless for their priority use period!  They are only good as points...

Bluegreen Exchange Company Upgrades

  • Gold owners may upgrade their exchange reservation from a blue week to a white week once per year.
  • Platinum owners may upgrade their exchange reservation from a blue week to a white week three times per year.
  • Owners must call Premier Services at 800.230.0149 to request upgrade.
  • RCI and Interval International are the only eligible exchange companies for this benefit.
  • Existing exchange company blue week reservation may be upgraded by calling Premier Services.

Bluegreen RCI Nightly Stays

As a Bluegreen Traveler Plus member, you have the opportunity to book nightly stays with RCI, an exchange company with which Bluegreen® is affiliated.

Please note that there is a fee each time you confirm an RCI nightly stay. This is known as a domestic fee if you are staying in a resort within your home country, or an international fee if you are staying in a resort outside of your home country. Not all RCI affiliated resorts offer stays of less than seven nights. Resorts offering partial week stays outside the United States are extremely limited. Check with RCI for fee amounts and further details.

Nightly stay reservations may be made up to 10 months in advance of the check-in date. Full week reservations may be made up to two years in advance of the check-in date. Saved Points are eligible to be used up to 180 days in advance of the check-in date.

Bluegreen Reservation Cancellation Policy

Bonus Time

Bonus Time cancellations must be cancelled more than three days before your check in date for a full refund of the charges.  Bonus Time reservations cancelled withing three days will be charged a fee equal to one night's charge plus applicable taxes.  If cancelled online there is a $60 fee.  If cancelled via phone the fee is $75.  Reservation modifications have a $60 fee.

Points Reservations

Points reservations must be cancelled at least ten days before your check in date to avoid losing the points used for the reservation. If cancelled online there is a $60 fee.  If cancelled via phone the fee is $75.  Reservation modifications have a $60 fee.

RCI Exchanges

There is a 24 hour grace period to modify or cancel without penalty. Owners must contact RCI at (800)445-0088 or (317)805-9174 for international callers to cancel.  Cancellations cannot be made online.

Points used for the cancelled reservation will stay in your RCI account and are valid for the current use year plus one additional year (based on when your account was set up).  Reservations cancelled outside the grace period may be subject to a loss of points depending upon how far in advance of check in the reservation is cancelled.  

  • Greater than 120 days - full refund
  • 119-61 days - 75% refund
  • 60-30 days - 50% refund
  • <29 days - 25% refund

Direct Exchange

All Direct Exchange reservation changes must be completed online, or by calling Bluegreen Traveler Plus at (800)459-1597 between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET Monday-Friday.  The reservation fee will not be refunded.  To modify, you must cancel and rebook which will result in another reservation fee.

Owners can cancel by the end of the next business day without a fee.  There is a $60 cancellation fee after the grace period is over.  If cancelled less than ten days prior to the check in date you will be subject to a loss of points.

Points Protection

If Points Protection was purchased within three days of confirmation, you can cancel your reservation up until 5:00 PM on the day of checkin.  Points will be put back in your account and there is no $75 cancellation fee.

Bluegreen Friends and Family Bonus Time

Friends and Family Bonus Time Rules:

  • Bronze owners may reserve one additional Bonus Time unit for the same reservation period, once per year.
  • Silver owners may reserve up to two additional Bonus Time units for the same reservation period, twice per year.
  • Gold owners may reserve up to three additional Bonus Time units for the same reservation period, three times per year.
  • Platinum owners may reserve up to four additional Bonus Time units for the same reservation period, four times per year.
  • All Friends & Family Bonus Time reservations must be made by calling Premier Services at 800.230.0149. This reservation can be made with or at anytime after the owners reservation, subject to availability.
  • Premier owner must be present, and friend’s reservation must be booked at the same resort as the owner’s reservation.
  • Each date of Premier owner's Friends and Family reservation must fall within the dates of the Premier owner’s reservation (friend’s reservation may be for fewer nights and in smaller villa types than the owner’s). Standard cancellation / modification fees apply.
  • If the owner’s reservation is cancelled the friends and family reservations will also be subject to cancellation.
  • Standard Bonus Time reservation window applies.
  • Commercial rental use of Bonus Time unit is not permitted and will result in termination of Bonus Time privileges

Bluegreen Great Escapes

*Confirmed Great Escapes reservations are non-refundable.
